PropertyPane customizable Description Area

Any chance you might make an enhancement to the PropertyPane to allow the developer to set what is to be displayed in the description area? We use the PropertyPane to allow a user to change property values and would like to be able to display things like the property data type, format, etc. in addition to the property description in a formatted JPanel rather than just using a text area. Then, perhaps, I could just extend "Property" to add the attributes that I want to display in the description area panel?

You can already do it now. You can extend PropertyPane and override createDescriptionPanel() method to provide your own description area. The same time you also need to override updateDescription() method so that you can get notified when selection changes.
