JIDE OSS 2.4.3 with Java 5

What is the target java version for JIDE OSS ?

the artefact deployed on the jave.net maven repository is compiled for java 6. Is this just by mistake or a must?

We compiled using JDK6 but with the target set to 1.5. You should be able to use it in JDK5.

sorry, but it is not possible to use it with java 5

Please update the jar. I just fixed it. It was broken since 2.4.2 so I fixed both 2.4.2 and 2.4.3.

there just one minor issue, on maven builds we get some warnings

while we used 2.2.2 we didn't get that warning

Just so you know this is fixed in 2.4.4 release.

The same problem (not usable with java 5) is introduced again in 2.4.7 and still there in 2.5.0

Just so you know, this is fixed in 2.5.1 release. We finally figured out what causing the problem so it will never happen again.
