Disable context menu in QuickFilterField

Hello,

We love the QuickFilterField but would like to disable the context menu (and thereby not have the down arrow show up).

We can disable the context menu by overriding createContextMenu to return null, but that still leaves us having to replace the icon (since it contains a down arrow).

Would this be an API enhancement you'd consider?

You can use setIcon method and set it to null.

We don't actually want the icon to be null, what we'd prefer is just the magnifying glass without the popup menu indicator (the arrow). This is similar to the search field provided on Mac OS X and Windows Vista.

We're really looking to replicate the OS widget as closely as possible.

You could set an icon that does not have the arrow as the arrow is part of the icon we use on the textfield.

Easiest way to get that icon probably is to extract it from our jar file (com/jidesoft/grid/icons/quick_search.png) and slice it properly.
