JEdit-like Text Editor

I need to provide an editor for the VHDL and Verilog languages. The Jedit text editor ( http://www.jedit.org/ ) would be perfect for this application, but alas, it is under the GNU public license, and therefore useless for me.

This is too risky for us to do it. What if one day jEdit decides to make their license LGPL
